I don't think he's really holding the gun to his head. I think that he has his hand in another person's face as they have the gun to his head and that the positioning of the frame is so perfect that it looks like he's about to shoot himself...

wow, to me this says that this person feels anonymous, lonley and isolated and this is their only escape. The use of white background also suggests going towards the white light, this is death kind of thing. The composition is excellent, my head swirls when I look at this shot, like I'm feeling what they are feeling. The use of the border gives a feeling of them been so close to been saved, but so far away. Its a very moving shot, you should be extremely proud of it
